What is CAT?

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is an All-India MBA entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) in all major cities of the nation. Most of the premier MBA institutes in the country accept CAT scores as a measure of a candidate’s aptitude and use it as a yardstick to select their students during the admissions process. The examination is conducted only once a year, usually in November.
